Further, cut the onion, cabbage, and capsicums into fine long strips.
To make Chinese Fried Idli, cut each Idli from the center to divide them into 4 equal pieces.
After that, heat the oil in a wok/Kadai.
When the oil is hot, add rai or small mustard seeds to it. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
Additionally, add ginger paste, and saute them for a few seconds.
Further, add chopped onions and cook till the onions are translucent.
Now add chopped capsicum and cabbage into it and cook them for 4-5 minutes.
Stir the ingredients in between.
Further, add red chili powder, black pepper powder, soy sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, chili garlic sauce, and green chili sauce. Mix all the ingredients in the Kadai as you stir them constantly for 1-2 minutes on a high flame.
After that, add pieces of Idlis to it and mix them properly.
Cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
Now switch off the gas.
Finally, hot and delicious Chinese Veg Fried Idli is ready to be served.
