Ingredients
2cupsPuffed Cholai / Rajgira / Amaranth
1cupSugar
½cupWater
Instructions
Add 1 cup sugar and ½ cup water to a heavy-bottomed pan and cook until the sugar dissolves.
Continue cooking until the sugar syrup becomes thick and sticky.
Switch off the heat and add 2 cups puffed cholai (rajgira).
Mix quickly until the sugar syrup evenly coats the puffed cholai.
Let the mixture cool slightly until it is warm enough to handle.
Lightly touch your hands with water and take a small portion of the mixture.
Gently press and roll it between your palms to make a round laddu. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Place the Cholai Laddus on a plate and let them cool completely before serving.
