  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 ¼ cups Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tbsp Melted Butter or Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

How do I make Pancakes:

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  • Create the Batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Don’t worry if the batter is a bit lumpy—that’s normal!
  • Cook the Pancakes: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Stack your basic easy pancake on a plate and top with your favorite toppings like butter, syrup, or fruit.
