Ingredients

  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • ½ Capsicum (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Carrot (grated)
  • 2 tbsp Cabbage (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1 Green Chilli (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Chaat Masala
  • ¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 cups Dosa Batter
  • Oil for cooking (as needed)

Instructions

  • Mix all chopped vegetables with ½ tsp salt, chaat masala, and red chilli powder. Set aside to let the flavors blend.
  • Take fermented dosa batter and add ½ tsp salt and mix well. Adjust consistency if needed to keep it thick yet pourable.
  • Heat a non-stick or iron tawa over a medium flame. Lightly grease it with oil.
  • Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it into a thick round.
  • Add the mixed vegetable mixture on top, and press gently.
  • Drizzle oil around edges, and cook until golden.
  • Flip and cook until veggies are lightly roasted.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar. Sprinkle a little chaat masala on top for extra street-style flavor.
