Ingredients

  • cups Roasted Vermicelli / Java
  • 2 litres Milk
  • ½ cups Sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 3 tbsp Chopped Cashews and almonds
  • 1 tbsp Raisins / Kishmish
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions

  • Boil the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan, stirring occasionally.
  • Add roasted vermicelli and mix well. If using unroasted vermicelli, roast it in ghee before adding.
  • Add cardamom powder and stir to combine.
  • Cook the vermicelli on medium flame for 10-12 minutes or until soft, stirring occasionally.
  • Add sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add chopped cashews, almonds, and raisins. Simmer for 5-6 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped cashews and almonds and serve. Enjoy warm or chilled.
