Ingredients
- 2 cups Long Grained Rice (Basmati)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Oil
- 10 cups Water
Instructions
- Firstly, rinse the rice under running water, rubbing the grains together between the palms of your hands, and continue this rinsing until the water runs fairly clear.
- After that, soaked the rice for 30 minutes and drain.
- Further, boil the water in a deep pan.
- After the water comes to a boil then add the soaked and drained rice.
- Additionally, add salt, and oil and mix well.
- Cook on a medium flame for 8 -10 minutes or till the rice is 90% cooked.
- Drain the steamed rice and transfer the boiled rice to a plate.
- Finally, perfect steamed rice is ready to be served.
- You can serve this hot boiled rice with any Indian curry, sabzi, or curd.
