Egg Fried Rice Recipe – Restaurant style | How to make Egg Fried Rice | Simple and Quick Egg Fried Rice Recipe – Chinese style with step by step photos and Video:
One of our favorite Indo-Chinese Recipes. Restaurant-style Egg fried rice is a Chinese dish of steamed rice that has been stir-fried in a wok and is usually mixed with other ingredients, such as eggs, vegetables, paneer, and mushrooms, and is often served as a complete dish.
Chili Paneer, Chilli Mushroom, Gobi Manchurian, Vegetable Manchurian, Schezwan Fried Rice, and Veg Fried Rice, are some of the most common ones in Chinese cuisine.
Whenever we order a Chinese menu then egg fried rice is always there. Along with fried rice, we usually order different curries like Gobi Manchurian, Veg Manchurian or Hot and Sour Vegetable Sauce, etc.
You can add vegetables as per your choice to this Egg-Fried Rice Recipe. Here I have used onions, french beans, spring onion, cabbage, carrots, and capsicums.
Egg Fried Rice Recipe is perfect as a snack recipe or main course recipe for egg lovers. Follow this simple recipe to prepare a delicious restaurant-style egg fried rice recipe.

Egg Fried Rice Recipe | How to make Egg Fried Rice
Ingredients
Egg Bhurji Ingredients:
- 4 Egg
- 2 tbsp Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Capsicum (colorful – finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Spring onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp French Beans (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Carrot (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Oregano Seasoning
- ½ tsp Red Chili Flakes (optional)
- ½ tsp Ginger Powder
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- ½ tsp Salt (adjust as per taste)
- 1 tbsp Butter / Oil
Ingredients for Boiling Rice:
- 1 cups Basmati Rice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Water (as needed)
Ingredients for Egg Fried Rice:
- 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Capsicum (red, green, yellow – finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Carrot (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Spring Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Cabbage (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp French Beans (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Red Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- ½ tsp m.s.g (Ajinomoto)
- ½ tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Salt (adjust as per taste)
Instructions
Instructions for Egg Burji Recipe:
- Firstly, prepare egg bhurji from my detailed step-by-step Egg Bhurji Recipe – Detailed recipe with step by step photos and video.
- Keep aside this egg bhurji or anda bhurji.
How to boil rice for Egg Fried Rice Recipe:
- Firstly, boil enough water in a deep pan.
- Further, add salt, and 2 tbsp oil and mix well.
- When the water comes to a boil, add the rice and mix well.
- Cook on a medium flame for 8-10 minutes or till the rice is 90% cooked.
- Make sure you boil the rice properly about 90%.
- After that, drain them and wash the rice with cold water so that the cooking process is stopped and the excess starch is removed.
- After washing the rice with cold water add 1 tbsp of oil and mix well with your hands.
Instructions for How to make Egg Fried Rice:
- Firstly, cut the vegetables as mentioned in the ingredient section.
- Heat a wok (Kadai) and add 2 tbsp oil.
- Put on the flame to high.
- Additionally, add chopped onions and cook the onions for about 2 minutes.
- Further, add ginger garlic paste and cook for a few seconds.
- After that, add chopped carrots and chopped beans. Keep the flame on high and roast the veggies for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add chopped capsicum and chopped cabbage into it. Saute the veggies for 1-2 more minutes.
- Add boiled rice, m.s.g ( monosodium glutamate) or Ajinomoto, salt, and black pepper powder and mix well.
- Further, add soy sauce, vinegar, and red chili garlic sauce into the rice and mix well.
- After that, add ½ tsp sesame oil and egg bhurji and toss it well and stir fry for 2-3 minutes on high heat.
- Sprinkle some chopped spring onion on it and mix all the ingredients well.
- Turn off the flame.
- Finally, the hot and delicious Egg Fried Rice Restaurant style is ready to be served.
- Serve this hot and delicious egg-fried rice plain or accompanied with any Chinese curry like Veg Manchurian curry or Vegetables in hot and sour sauce, etc.
